As you may have guessed, we've been super-busy on technical behind-the-scenes aspects of the game for the last couple of months... this means that whilst things might not look (visually, aesthetically etc) as though they have changed, the change in the background has been huge! All this work makes the game not only slimmer but also more robust - so it works better for the players around the world; as well as making it more affordable for us to run in terms of server scaling at the scale we need it to - which is also a bit critical to the business plan! It has also opened AoA up to more platforms in the future, which is critical for distribution. Some details we can't, sadly, share with you right now for NDA reasons; but, rest assured, it's all good!
So that's basically an apology for not having posted much recently. Sorry.
Having said that, I do have a lot of things to share with you and get your feedback on. I'll be posting later over the long Labor day weekend about a number of topics that I'd like input into, if you guys have time! There'll be a number of posts on a variety of topics from game mechanics to backstory, and I really would value any feedback you have.
